When creating a new page (or subpage) you will also have the ability to set up advanced SEO options, or metadata, for the page. Meta data is one of the ways Search Engines know what each page of your site is about.  Let’s take a look at what options are available and how to use them:

SEO Options are found on the menu items details, by clicking to edit a page within the Menu Manger:

  1. Select the SEO Options item to expand it.
  2. Add the title tag of your page. Title tags are displayed on search engine results pages (SERPs) as the clickable headline for a given result. The title tag is meant to be an accurate and concise description of your page's content.
  3. Add the meta description of your page. The meta description is an HTML attribute that provides a brief summary of your web page. Search engines often display the meta description in search results.
  4. Add Keywords. Keywords provide Search Engines with information about what topics are included on a given page. These are often the words that would be searched to find your page’s content.
  5. Enable/Disable Indexing. The feature is set to enable by default. Enabling indexing means that Search Engines will be able to crawl your page’s content and index it in their search results. Disabling indexing will remove this ability.
